Meet the sheep of Sager Family Farm: Marshmallow and Coco! In this lesson we'll learn about all of the amazing things we get from the sheep on our farm and what we do to take care of them.

  • What We Get From Sheep (Milk, Fertilizer, Wool, Meat)

  • What to Farmers Do for Sheep? (care for the sheep, keeping them healthy, safe from predators)

  • General Biology (what they eat, change through the seasons)

Learning Goals:

  • Animals need food and shelter to survive. What does a sheep need to survive? How does a farmer help sheep?

  • What do sheep do in different seasons? When do they have lambs? When does the farmer sheer them?

  • What do plants need to grow? How can a sheep help my plants?

  • Body parts of a sheep.
